Vatolka is a special minion that appears instead of Arpatron in the capture training tutorial with Koris when a PocketStation is plugged in the PlayStation in Slot 1 as a Memory Card (see this video).
The element of the minion is determined by finding the unique ID provided by the PocketStation's serial number, then performing modulo 4 on it. Based on that result, your Vatolka will be:
- Fire elemental with a 0,
- Air elemental with a 1,
- Earth elemental with a 2, and
- Water elemental with a 3.

- Despite the listed move sets for Vatolka, most are generated by the PocketStation ID. the only guaranteed moves it will have are:
- Horn - [Element] Attack.
- Foot - All Enemies.
- The base form of the appropriate elemental magic.
- The appropriate Deva spell.
- It is also possible for Vatolka to have "illegal" move combinations, such as Fang - All Enemies[1].
- Through the use of transferring saves between ePSXe and Xebra/Arbex, it is possible to have captured both Vatolka and Arpatron in the same save file. Furthermore, they count as having captured 2 different minions, despite them sharing the same in game slot in the Minion List.
