The Dragonfly Forest is a location in Jade Cocoon: Story of the Tamamayu. It is the second Forest encountered in the Parel Forest. It is locked until obtaining the Dragonfly Key from Koris in the Beetle Forest.
General Info[]
Minions range from levels 3-5. This is the first forest of 3 that contain battles with the Poacher, who threatens at this point to steal your White Cocoons (although losing to them will not incur any real penalties aside from being kicked out of the forest). Some parts of the forest are locked until obtaining the Larva Key from the Poacher. Kikinak can be encountered in a clearing within the cave system (near the warp area) for a short conversation, but can not be properly interacted with until getting past the locked door.

Bosses[]
Poacher[]

A Poacher is encountered at the far end of the forest through the ruins of an ancient Nagi building where you can encounter Riggu/Ohma. This Poacher is at level 6 and has one Divine Minion to fight you with, a level 6 Goat. The Poacher itself only has one attack even though it carries an Iron Axe, it will spin and punch to attack. Both Poacher and Goat have low magic defence so magic attacks will do decent damage and since Goat is Fire element most water attacks will take it out very quickly. Upon his defeat he will run away, dropping the Larva Key.
Drops
- Common - Great Walnut
- Rare - Iron Axe
Kikinak[]
Kikinak is the final boss of the Dragonfly Forest, who is found passed the locked door (that requires the Larva Key obtained by defeating the Poacher) at the far end of the forest on the right-most path. It has 3 attacks, 2 of which are non elemental and a jumping attack which is Air elemental. Kikinak is extremely weak to Fire element attacks and durable against Air element attacks. Earth and Water do slightly more damage than Air attacks but still no where near as much as Fire.
